U.S.-led coalition bombardment of Yemen and Yemenis
CDHR Commentary:
The U.S.-led coalition bombardment of Yemen and Yemenis (Jan. 2024) will never work. Many misled adventurers, of which the Saudi and Emirati absolute oligarchs’ invasion and stunning defeat (Sept. 2014-2022) and the destruction of Yemen are vivid examples. This is due to outsiders’ ignorance of the mountainous country and its fierce population of 33 million.
Yemen has some of the most spectacular historical and natural sights and the perfect climate for all kinds of food products. It can be developed into a regional and global tourist money-making destination. The billions of dollars the Saudi and Emirati condescending dynasties wasted on the destruction of Yemen could have been used for the construction of life-sustaining necessities. This is the time for a visionary and pragmatic approach.
